Terms of service
Last updated: August 8, 2026
What these terms cover
These terms govern use of the DatBase website and any commercial contact originating through it. Contracted services are additionally governed by the proposal signed with each client, which prevails over this document where the two differ.
DatBase is operated by Camilo Esteban Vergara Salas, from Chile.
What we offer
We provide data analysis advisory, implementation and operation of managed databases, reporting on demand, and inventory capture by scanning.
Information published on this site is descriptive and does not constitute a binding offer. Every service is formalised through a written proposal accepted by both parties.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are prepared case by case according to the scope of work. Amounts are expressed in Chilean pesos (CLP) and remain valid for the period stated in each proposal. Applicable taxes are itemised separately in each document.
Use of the site
By using this site you agree not to attempt access to restricted areas without authorisation, not to interfere with its operation, and not to submit false information through the contact form.
Ownership of client data
Data a client hands to us remains theirs. We process it solely to deliver the contracted service, we do not use it for other purposes, and we return or delete it at the end of the relationship, as the client instructs.
Confidentiality
All commercial, technical or operational information we receive from a client is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties without written authorisation, except where legally required.
Availability and liability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for interruptions attributable to infrastructure providers, force majeure, or causes outside our control.
Our liability for contracted services is governed by the terms of the corresponding proposal.
Intellectual property
The content, brand and design of this site belong to DatBase. You may quote or link to the content citing the source; reproducing it for commercial purposes requires written authorisation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Chilean law. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of justice of Chile.
