Who processes your data
The controller of personal data collected on this site is Camilo Esteban Vergara Salas, who operates the DatBase service from Chile.

What we collect
Data you give us. When you complete the contact form we collect your name, your email address and, if you choose to include them, your company name, your phone number and the message you write. Fields marked optional may be left blank without preventing submission.
Browsing data. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics records pages visited, time on page, device type and an approximate location derived from your IP address. None of this activates before you accept. If you decline, no analytics identifier is installed in your browser.
Language preference. We store the language you choose in a functional cookie. It is written only when you change the language yourself, and it is not used to track you.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we make no automated decisions that affect you.
Who we share it with
We work with providers who act as processors and handle data only on our instructions:
- Google (Firebase) — database storage and analytics.
- Cloudflare — website delivery.
Both may process data outside Chile. We share your data with no one else, except where a competent authority legally requires it.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept while an active commercial relationship or ongoing conversation exists, and for up to 24 months after the last contact. Analytics data is kept according to the retention configured in Google Analytics, which does not exceed 14 months.
Your rights
You may request at any time:
- Access to the data we hold about you.
- Rectification of incorrect or outdated data.
- Erasure of your data.
- Objection to a particular processing activity.
- Portability of the data you gave us, in a structured format.
- Withdrawal of consent for analytics, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
Write to camilovergarasalas.cvs@gmail.com and we will respond within the periods set by law. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may complain to the competent personal data protection authority in Chile.
To withdraw analytics consent without writing to us, use the Privacy preferences link available at the foot of every page.

The first two are necessary for the site to behave as you expect and do not require prior consent.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and ask for your analytics decision again. Consent given to an earlier version does not carry over automatically.
